Reise- und tropenmedizinische Beratungen erfolgen in der Praxis (Ärztepraxis Eichwis; Rickenstr. 9; CH-8634 Hombrechtikon) nach telefonischer Voranmeldung zu den Bürozeiten (Tel: 055 244 44 40) oder per E-mail : (skalsky@hin.ch) rund um die Uhr . Impfungen (inklusive Gelbfieberimpfungen), tropenmedizinische Abklärungen, sowie stuhl- und blutparasitologische Untersuchungen werden durch Dr. med. Jürg Skalsky; Allgemeine Medizin FMH und Tropen- und Reisemedizin FMH angeboten.
Für die Laboruntersuchungen bzw. den Untersucher bestehen eine externe Qualitätskontrolle: UK, National External Quality Assessment Scheme for Microbiology des Instituts für Tropenmedizin in London.

In above private practice there is a counselling and curative service offered for travel- and tropical medicine. Vaccinations for international travel (including the yellow fever vaccination) are given on a daily basis. Advice, examinations and treatment for travel- or tropical medicine related problems are available in the practice. The service (including microbiological examinations for stool and blood) is offered by Juerg A. Skalsky, MD; DTM&PH. The quality of these examinations is assured by an internationally accepted external quality service for microbial examinations: The UK External Quality Assessment Scheme for Microbiology; London; Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
